La mano è stata a lungo pensata come un condotto di potere, che trasforma l’energia invisibile nel mondo della forma. Il termine latino MANIFESTUS (chiaro, palese) comprende appunto la parola manus (mano) .
Manifestare è il modo per dire “IO CI SONO”, è il momento in cui acchiappiamo insieme un fuggente tratto di realtà, preso sul fatto, e lo presentiamo all’evidenza del pubblico, della piazza, degli altri. Non c’è rottura tra pensiero, gesto ed immaginazione: le mani creano, modellano sia la materia che le idee, sono l’organo distintivo del genere umano emancipato dai vincoli del mondo animale. Sono volti senza occhi, ma vedenti e parlanti.
Questo progetto sviluppa una coreografia per un gruppo di tre danzatorə: una forma astratta di rappresentazione, attraverso referenze non narrative e i codici di alcune pratiche di street dance, definendo un articolato spazio energetico in costante cambiamento per manifestarsi danzando nel flusso del presente.

The hand has long been thought of as a conduit of power, which transforms invisible energy into the world of form. The Latin term MANIFESTUS (clear, evident) includes the word manus (hand).
Manifesting is the way of saying “I AM HERE!”, it is the moment in which we catch a fleeting stretch of reality, caught in the act, and present it to the evidence of the public, of the square, of others. There is no break between thought, gesture and imagination: the hands create, shape both matter and ideas, they are the distinctive organ of the human race emancipated from the constraints of the animal world. They are faces without eyes, but seeing and speaking.
This project develops a choreography for a group of three dancers: an abstract form of representation, through codes and non-narrative references of some street dance practices, defining a complex energetic space in constant change to manifest itself, dancing in the flow of the present.
