[ENG] Jacopo Jenna is a choreographer and director creating stage works, video pieces and installations . He explores choreography as an expanded practice, developing a research that reflects on the perception of dance and its linguistic codes. He studies various ways of embodying movement, leading his projects to take on multiple forms in both performative and visual contexts.

As a graduate of Sociology at the University of Urbino Italy, he also studied dance in Codarts (Rotterdam Dance Academy). He creates training and educational programmes for various age groups experimenting with new ways of relating to performance art.

[ITA] Jacopo Jenna è un coreografo e regista. Indaga la coreografia come pratica estesa sviluppando una ricerca che riflette sulla percezione della danza e dei suoi codici linguistici. Studia le diverse possibilità di incorporazione del movimento, portando i suoi progetti ad assumere molteplici forme sia in contesti performativi che puramemente visivi.

Laureato in Sociologia presso l’Università di Urbino, sviluppa i suoi studi nella danza in Olanda a Codarts (Rotterdam Dance Academy). Si occupa di formazione e percorsi educativi per varie fasce di età elaborando nuove strategie di relazione con l’arte perfomativa.
