Il lavoro affronta la tematica dell’energia intesa come fattore fondamentale per lo sviluppo
e le condizioni di vita dell’umanità, allo stesso tempo anche causa di guerre di potere, disastri ambientali, monopoli economici e sfruttamento. 
Nel video appare un uomo che trascina con fatica un oggetto indistinto fatto di rifiuti attraverso un paesaggio desertico. La natura lo osserva silenziosa. 
Allo stesso modo l’individuo contemporaneo patisce passivamente le scelte sul problema energetico e prosegue nel proprio cammino soffrendo e sopportando violentemente le conseguenze.
Solo l’energia rinnovabile forse può salvare la terra dal collasso ambientale e diventare il nuovo simbolo della passione umana.

"The landscape is harsh; one can feel the heat, the
sun. A man is seen carrying a makeshift apparatus
across the land. There is a sense of urgency as he
struggles with the heavy load. Is this Eternal Light
related to the Eternal Fire found in the middle of
the Baba Gurgur oil field, near the city of Kirkuk in
Iraq?

Jacopo Jenna proposes a symbolic and spiritual
work that examines our dependence on oil.
Perhaps it illustrates the leap of faith required to
accept the value and sustainability of alternative
solutions to the energy crisis."
