Il lavoro è stato sviluppato come se fosse una sorta di coreografia in un determinato numero di scatti fotografici in un unico luogo e in un unico lasso di tempo. Per questo ipotetico duetto sono stati utilizzati due danzatori facendoli dialogare nello spazio imprimendo pensiero esclusivamente attraverso i loro corpi, i loro movimenti e le loro posture, senza svelare il volto o dare una rappresentazione somatica chiara delle loro identità, ma puntando l’attenzione solo sul linguaggio anatomico, sul loro essere corpo.
Attraverso la loro nudità (parafrasando il filosofo Jan-Luc Nancy) si espongono come immagine e trasferiscono ogni arcana profondità sulla superficie corporea perché “il mondo è composto proprio di superfici su superfici”, di corpi su corpi.

Il tuo sguardo non lo afferra, è lui ad impadronirsi di te, è il suo cenno, la sua attesa, il suo essere in ritardo o in anticipo sulla sua unità di persona, di individuo o di soggetto. The work has been developed as a sort of choreography in a determined number of photographic shots in a single place and in an only interval of time. For this hypothetical duet two dancers have been used making them dialogue in the space exclusively engraving thought through their bodies, their movements and their postures without disclosing the face or to give a clear somatic representation of their identities, but aiming only the
attention at the anatomical language, on their being body. Through their nudity (paraphrasing the philosopher Jan-Luc Nancy) they are exposed as image and they transfer every arcane depth on the bodily surface because "the world is composed really of surfaces on surfaces", of bodies on bodies.

“Naked body, it is him, it is her, here is the nude, the naked one, here is the dawning body, the body in anendless squirt, body that draws near, next, imminent but fleeing body, in itself subtracted to your taking. Your look doesn't grab it, it is him to appropriate of you, it is its sign, his attended, its being late or ahead of its unity of person, of individual or of subject. Not personal body, not individualized, transversal body crossed by all the nudities.” |
