Jacopo Jenna


Visual Artist and Professional Dancer.

Graduate of Sociology. He approached to dance as an adult and he studied in Holland in Codarts-Rotterdam Dance Academy.

He worked in dance companies and projects across Europe like Anouk Van Dijk DC(NL), Zappalà dance company (Italy), Steptext dance project (Germany).
Now is working with Virgilio Sieni Dance Company (Italy) and Collettivo Cinetico (Italy).

His artistic production is focused on the meaning of the body, thought as a place of feeling and exposure through the form and movement. The works are oriented towards a research of coexistence between the practices and techniques of performing art and the use of languages such as photography and video.
